This one is not your typical fuzzy, feel good, traditional, Christmas Movie. It is however, centered around a Christmas theme, which makes it eligible for this list. Give yourself a break from decking the halls, and watch this brilliantly original, edgy, dark comedy. You're guaranteed to fall in love with Gizmo and hope for the demise of his not so sweet relatives.
Director Steven Spielberg delivers big time in this picture. Although this film is fictional, it will still make you check under your bed before you can get a good nights sleep.
